Clean, gently used donations can be dropped off at any of Spano’s three Allstate Offices.

Warren 31924 Ryan Road, Warren, MI 48092 (586) 274-1150

All donations will be distributed free of charge, directly to local shelters and organizations.

"Bitter cold is going to be here before we know it,” said Richard Spano, a local Allstate agent. “Many of us have closets overflowing with items other people need right now. Anything you'd want to put on your body or your bed in cold weather is what we need: blankets, sleeping bags, coats, gloves, thermal underwear, hats, and even thick socks.”

Many families are just getting by and are ill-equipped to weather a Michigan winter. Participating in Spano’s Bundle Up Blanket and Coat Drive is an easy way to engage an entire family in serving the community. “We’re in the business of protecting people with auto, home and life insurance,” said Spano, “this is a natural extension of what we do every day.”

“Ask people to stop whatever they’re doing when they hear about this and check their closets,” Spano said.

Congratulations to Changing Places Moving, awarded the 2011 Gold Quality Agent Award from Arpin Van Lines at the company’s recent annual meetings.  This marks the 6th year in a row they have won this award which is presented to agents who display exceptional quality customer service.  “You only get one chance to make a first impression” says owner Johnna Struck.  Nationally, less than 10% of the 120 Arpin agents surpass the lofty guidelines for the award.

Changing Places Moving, established in 1979, is located at 4290 Hatchery Rd., Waterford, MI.  They are a full service moving and storage company specializing in local and long distance relocation.

NEW HEALTH Jewels Yoga & Fitness

As many of you are aware there is a ~750 sq', year round gazebo being built at the new location in Davisburg. The yogazebo will overlook an Olympic size pond and endless acres of land. The intention is to hold special classes and workshops on a suggested donation only basis. The classes will run ~ $5 - $7 and the workshops ~$10 - $20. What does suggested mean? Well in hard times some may or may not have this amount to offer, therefore this does not mean they are not welcome to attend it simply means this space will be offered to them regardless of their current circumstances; treating all beings equally. The space will be able to hold ~ 10-15 yoga mats comfortably and ~20-40 for stand up or sit down events, therefore a commitment will strongly be encouraged so we can honor all of those beings interested in attending. There will be times when students will be placed on a waiting list. Hence If unable to adhere respecting the time and space of other souls by letting Jules know in advance that you will be unable to attend. Thank you for understanding in advance!
Many former Jewels students and excited, new inquiring minds will find the new location is actually closer and or of equal distance from the previous location. Go ahead and see for yourselves, map quest: 7355 Hall Road Davisburg, MI 48350. Namaste Jules
