All donations will be distributed free of charge, directly to local shelters and organizations.

"Bitter cold is going to be here before we know it,” said Richard Spano, a local Allstate agent. “Many of us have closets overflowing with items other people need right now. Anything you'd want to put on your body or your bed in cold weather is what we need: blankets, sleeping bags, coats, gloves, thermal underwear, hats, and even thick socks.”

Many families are just getting by and are ill-equipped to weather a Michigan winter. Participating in Spano’s Bundle Up Blanket and Coat Drive is an easy way to engage an entire family in serving the community. “We’re in the business of protecting people with auto, home and life insurance,” said Spano, “this is a natural extension of what we do every day.”

“Ask people to stop whatever they’re doing when they hear about this and check their closets,” Spano said.

Congratulations to Changing Places Moving, awarded the 2011 Gold Quality Agent Award from Arpin Van Lines at the company’s recent annual meetings.  This marks the 6th year in a row they have won this award which is presented to agents who display exceptional quality customer service.  “You only get one chance to make a first impression” says owner Johnna Struck.  Nationally, less than 10% of the 120 Arpin agents surpass the lofty guidelines for the award.

Changing Places Moving, established in 1979, is located at 4290 Hatchery Rd., Waterford, MI.  They are a full service moving and storage company specializing in local and long distance relocation.
