Thoughts from your President:

The summer is getting off to a great start.  We had a wonderful Challenge Cup Golf Outing with 112 golfers and it raised more money to support the Chamber than in the past few years.  This shows our members support our activities strongly.  Also, Concerts in the Park have started with success with Ice Cream sales especially at the first concert hitting goalJ

The Chamber doesn’t sleep during the summer it continues to plan for the future.  Coming soon you will be seeing invitations to Beer University.  The new and improved committee has some outstanding ideas to make this event not only fun but a brand that will carry us forward.

Our staff continues to go strong working on new members and sponsorships for future events.  One of those events is the Taste of Clarkston coming up on Sunday, September 25th, mark your calendars and remember volunteers will be needed.

Continue to have a nice summer, relax and enjoy.  Don’t forget to watch online for Chamber News especially Ribbon Cuttings those new businesses really appreciate our support.

See you at the next event.  Continue to prosper!

Bill Burr
