Walters Financial Group is an independent financial services and employee benefits firm located in Clarkston. With a focus on life, health and disability insurance, we create insurance and investment plans that are tailored to help meet the needs of both businesses and individuals. Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with our clients. As a family-owned business for over 30 years, we try to make our clients feel like family by treating them with honesty, integrity and loyalty.

The owner, Denny Walters, CLU, ChFC and individual investment advisor, opened his own business in 1975. Denny enjoys golf as a member at Warwick Hills, boating on Deer Lake and every major sport. He is an active member of St. Daniels Parish and a proud grandparent of three.

Paul Robak has been with Walters Financial Group for 12 years. Paul graduated from Rochester College where he was an All-American basketball player. When he’s not kept busy with his three children, he enjoys coaching basketball at WOLL, hunting, fishing and golfing.

Jeff Walters attended CHS and later graduated from the University of Michigan. Jeff joined the business in 2005. He loves to golf, travel and is an avid sports fan.

Tom Tippen joined our agency after retiring from GM after 30 years. He is a member and past president of Atlas Valley Country Club. He also is an avid Michigan fan.

Our office staff includes Kim Hopkins, Mike Golding, and Carol Oostdyk, two of which are MSU fans, which keeps it interesting on big game days.

We are proud to be members of the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce and to serve our community to the best of our ability.
