Community High School Scholarship Awards Presented May 28, 2009

$15,500 in local scholarships were awarded at the recent Clarkston High School Senior Awards evening held May 28, 2009. 

The Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce $1,000 Scholarships for Entrepreneurial spirit were presented to Robert Pizzey and Amy Cannons.

The Clarkston Farm & Garden $1,000 scholarships were presented to Evan Markarian Jenica Dabrowski Katelyn Schweitzer Kory Schweitzer.

The Clarkston Foundation  $1,000 scholarship for Performing Arts went to Kellyn Carpenter.  The Clarkston Foundation $1,000 scholarship for Math/Science went to Jena Manilla.

The Clarkston Foundation $750 Shelmar Scholarship/Future Teacher Scholarships went to   Ali Phillip and Allie Browe ($750) 

The Clarkston Optimist Club scholarships were presented to 1. Bethany Horner 2. Taylor Benson 3. Timothy Ginn 4. Kory Schweitzer 5. Ashley Kukuk 6. Evan Markarian.  (Total Scholarships awarded were $3,000 from the Optimists.)

The Clarkston Rotary $1,000 scholarships were presented to 1. Kelsey Ferrand 2. Kortni Chrisman

HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIPS

The Devin Werner O'Neill $1,000 Scholarship was presented to Kathryn Genoa.

The Munk Orthodontics $1,000 Scholarship was presented to Chelsea Grainer.     

The Roeser Dental Associates $1,000 scholarship was presented to Olivia Allen.   

The Michigan Center for Orthopedic Surgery $2,000 Scholarship was presented to Korni Chrisman.
