OXFORD BANK EMPLOYEES DONATE $1,200 TO LOCAL CHARITIES  Clarkston SCAMP & HAVEN of Oakland County Receive 2009 “Dress Down” Donations

Oxford, Michigan -- Oxford Bank, a subsidiary of Oxford Bank Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: OXBC), announced today that the Bank’s employees have agreed to donate $600.00 each to two local charities.  The recipients are Clarkston SCAMP and HAVEN of Oakland County.

The money was raised through Oxford Bank’s “Dress Down For Charity” program.  It allows Bank employees the opportunity to donate at least $1.00 on a monthly basis to charity in exchange for dressing in casual attire on the fourth Friday of each month.  The $1,200 raised represents money donated during the 2009 calendar year.  The recipients were determined by voting amongst Oxford Bank employees.

HAVEN is a nationally recognized non-profit whose mission is to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault through treatment and prevention services across Oakland County and the surrounding communities.  For more information about programs and services, please visit www.haven-oakland.org.

Clarkston SCAMP is a summer program that offers recreational opportunities for mentally and physically challenged youth.  Traditionally, their students have one or more disabilities (autism, mental and/or emotional impairment, learning disability, speech and language delay, or a physical handicap) or are identified by school personnel as students “at risk” and in need of a positive summer experience.  Students attend their program from school districts in the northern end of Oakland County and the southern end of Genesee County.
