On The Border Gives Back Two Fold
Welcome to On The Border!
First let me start out by saying that we are proud to give back to our awesome community.
We have two ways you can raise extra money for your favorite group, Give Back Nights and Pancake Breakfasts.
A Give Back Night (GBN) is a fundraising event, which gives our restaurant and opportunity to
donate 10% of the event sales to your non-profit organization. In order for you to qualify for a GBN, your organization must provide us with your federal tax ID number and a letter demonstrating your nonprofit status.
We need at least a two week notice before your event to ensure that we will be properly
Staffed and to educate our team members of your organization. We hold the events on
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4pm to 10pm. You may also hold your event on a monthly basis if you should decide to.
We create your flyer for your organization with the date and time of your event and donate
1,000 flyers for you to hand out at no cost to your group. You may also mass e-mail it to every body you know. This will make your event much more successful.
On the date of your event your guests must bring in a flyer to present to their server at the time of ordering their meal and their server will then attach the flyer to a copy of your guest’s final bill
and turn it into our office.
At the end of the evening, we will tally up the total sales from your event and submit the information to our corporate office. They will then process your check for 10% of your sales and mail it to you. It usually takes about two weeks for you to receive it.
The other way we can give back to our community is by hosting a Pancake Breakfast for you.
Here’s how it works: You must first hold your GBN and raise a certain dollar amount in sales which we will discuss with you at the time you book your event, and then schedule you for your pancake breakfast held on a Saturday morning from 8:30 until 10:00. You will pre-sell tickets at $5.00 each and you get to keep 80% of the money that you raise from the ticket sales. This can add up to a very large amount of cash if you want it to.
On The Border provides for your guests all you can eat pancakes, bacon, orange juice, coffee, milk and pop and we do the cooking for you.
Another way for you to increase your profits is to hold a Silent Auction or a Raffle during your pancake breakfast. You keep 100% of your profits earned from this and you can really make this a fun and exciting time for your group.
