Employers: 

• Space is limited so contact me NOW to reserve your full table or half table. 
• BYO signage, job descriptions, applications, pens/pencils, bus. cards, etc.
• Very limited electrical outlets:  Please decide to represent your company in a personal, “low-tech” manner that will result in high payoffs to you!

EMPLOYERS:  Are You Qualified Under the HIRE Act?
On March 18, 2010, President Obama signed into law a new act creating tax breaks for businesses hiring new workers and extending higher expensing limits for small business that make capital investments.  The new act allows Employers to receive an exemption from Social Security payroll taxes for every worker hired after February 3, 2010 and before Jan 1, 2011, if that worker has been unemployed for at least 60 days.

The HIRE Act Employee Affidavit (Form W-11) was recently released by the Internal Revenue Service. In order for employers to claim HIRE Act benefits, including a payroll tax exemption or a new-hire retention credit, a qualified employee must complete and sign the affidavit. The form is to be kept on file by the employer. A qualified employee is a new hire who begins employment after Feb. 3, 2010, and before Jan. 1, 2011.  The  new  hire  must  not  have been employed for more than 40 hours during the 60-day period

ending the day the employee begins employment.
