The Oakland County Fair is one of the oldest, largest and most successful fairs in Michigan. The fair continues to grow each year, with approximately 90,000 people attending last year’s fair. But, while we are proud of our accomplishments, we know we can’t rest on our laurels’. We know that there are a large number of people in Oakland County that have never been to the fair. We are confident that if we can get them to come once they will continue to return in the years to come.

To that end, the Oakland County Fair Board would like to invite all of the Chamber of Commerce members and their families to a day at the Oakland County Fair on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Chamber members will get special reserved V.I.P. parking, entrance to the fair and a picnic dinner reception including hot dogs or hamburgers, chips and a soft drink for each member and their family. In addition, Tuesday is $10.00 carnival day. Buy a $10.00 armband and ride all day! But there is more, for each carnival armband purchased at the picnic dinner reception a FREE pass will be given to the Figure Eight car races Tuesday evening.

The Value of this package for a family of four would normally be approximately $100.00. The cost to a chamber member and three family members would only be $45.00. That’s a whopping $55.00 savings! If a member did not want to pay for carnival rides or go to the Figure Eight car races, the cost would only be $5.00 which includes V.I.P. parking, admission to the fair and the picnic dinner for the entire family for only $5.00! We are making this incredible offer available because we believe that once you come to the fair you’ll want to come back every year.
