  • “Michigan State University First Game in Ford Field”

On behalf of Ford Field, we would like to offer the civic groups of Metro Detroit a special ticket price to come to the “Spartans in The D” game to watch the legendary Spartan’s face the two-time-college-bowl-winning Florida Atlantic University Owls. This game will mark Michigan’s State’s first football game to be played in Metro Detroit since Oct. 27, 1944 and first game ever in Ford Field.

The entire weekend will be filled with family entertainment, including the Tigers MLB game vs. Baltimore, the parade of the Spartan Marching Band from the riverfront to the stadium. The tailgate area has been confirmed where the morning Fox2 news show will be broadcast live from the GM lot at the Renaissance Center.

We welcome the area civic groups to come out and support our local Spartan’s. We believe it will be a great experience for everyone.

Let’s bring out Metro Detroit Pride on National TV!!
